​Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence

The Quality Management System of Teledyne Controls is designed to meet customer requirements and improve quality. Our Quality System assures that the products and services we deliver to our customer meet or exceed the requirements. The system also assures continuous quality improvement in the products and services we deliver to our customers.

The basic platform of our quality management system is AS9100 and ISO 9001:2000. Teledyne Controls has been certified and registered to ISO 9001 since 1995. In 2003 we also achieved AS9100:2001 Section 1 certification by our registrar Det Norske Veritas.

A significant element of our quality system is Software Quality Assurance (SQA). Our Software Design and Development activities meet the requirements of AS9006, ISO 9000-3, RTCA/DO 178B, and MIL-STD-498.

In addition to satisfying AS9100 and ISO 9001 our quality system satisfies all FAA requirements for operating an approved FAA production facility and certified repair station under FAR 145 (Certificate number GR3R537L) and EASA 145.4617. We have undergone and passed numerous FAA ACSEP audits. Our facility holds hundreds of Parts Manufacturing Approvals (PMA), Supplemental Type Certificates (STC's) and Technical Standard Orders (TSO's).
