  • Teledyne Controls appoints Director to new position in Global Airline Sales

    Teledyne Controls, the flight data management and connectivity business, has promoted Greg Devlin to the newly created position of Director - Global Airline Sales Strategy.

    In his new role, Greg will work with airline leaders to identify opportunities to solve real-world airline problems with innovative solutions from Teledyne's wide portfolio of data management products and value-added services.

    Matthew Wing, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, says that Greg's airline executive experience lends itself well to understanding airline needs: “Greg will work directly with our global regional sales team, adding his perspective to supplement their on-going activities, and provide critical feedback to our business unit organizations to ensure our solutions align with airline executive-level initiatives."

    Greg began his career as a power plant engineer with American Airlines in 1991, rising to Fleet Manager responsible for the operational performance of AA's 757 and A320 aircraft. He subsequently joined Virgin America as Director of Engineering, ascending to Managing Director of Technical Operations prior to joining Teledyne Controls in early 2017.

    Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Cal Poly and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Oklahoma State University.
