| Portable Maintenance Access Terminal 2000® (PMAT 2000®)
The Complete Electronic Data
Loading Aircraft Solution
Teledyne's Portable Maintenance Access Terminal 2000® (PMAT 2000) is a rugged flightline
maintenance support computer that 1) provides access to the onboard maintenance systems,
2) loads software parts into avionics systems, and 3) provides configuration control for all
Loadable Software Parts (LSPs) in an airline's fleet.
Easier Data Distribution and Loading
The PMAT 2000 accepts LSPs from floppy disks, USB memory stick, or electronically from Teledyne's
LoadStar® Server Enterprise (LSE) network distribution program. Data loading is performed over
ARINC 429 bus using ARINC 615-3 protocol, and over Ethernet, AFDX, and CAN bus using ARINC
615A protocol. The PMAT 2000 maintains a report of all data loading activity, identified by aircraft
tail and operator.
Software Configuration Control with LoadStar®
The LoadStar® application is delivered with the PMAT 2000 system and provides configuration
control of LSPs, which are assigned to specific aircraft types and tail numbers. The program guides
the operator as to the proper software parts available for the particular aircraft being loaded.
Maintenance Platform for 3rd Party Applications
The PMAT provides a common maintenance platform used to support maintenance activities for
a wide range of avionics systems. The PMAT 2000 system supports all GE FADEC engine computers
across commercial and military aircraft. Third party applications are available for a variety of
maintenance activities such as 767 Bleed Air Valve calibration, Primus Epic data loading, Flight
Data Recorder download, and EGPWS data loading.
Complete Data Loading Solution
The PMAT 2000 is a portable diagnostic tool and data loader that includes a complete integrated
kit of hardware, software, cables and accessories in support of hundreds of avionics systems.
