Eliminate your Dependence on PC Cards at the Flightline!
Teledyne’s PC Card Emulator Cable is a universal device that interfaces with any PC Card based system
for data distribution and loading
Take advantage of easy data distribution, loading and retrieval with
the PC Card Emulator Cable when used with Teledyne’s PMAT 2000
(Portable Maintenance Access Terminal) data loader. Together these
systems provide a method of electronically distributing and loading PC
Card/PCMCIA Card dependent systems directly from the PMAT 2000 to
LRUs without PC Card media.
Eliminate PC Cards
Teledyne offers the only solution available today to replace PC Cards currently used to load LRUs. This
solution integrates a PC Card Emulator Cable and a PMAT 2000 that plugs directly into a PC-Card slot on the
target system. This provides flight line maintenance with an alternative loading method that eliminates the
inconvenience of using PC Card media on the flightline.
Teledyne’s End-to-End Solution
The PMAT 2000 links to Gateway stations and electronically distributes the data and receives data loading
reports. The source of the database can either be from media or electronically through the LoadStar®
Server Enterprise (LSE) and LoadStar® software tools. In addition, some database updates can be
downloaded directly from a vendor’s website into the LSE database, providing electronic delivery from the
vendor to the aircraft. This streamlined process saves money and speeds up the delivery time.
Automatic Data Loading and Storage
The PMAT 2000’s menu leads the user through the upload or download process and displays the load
progress, status and automatically confirms the upload. The PMAT 2000 automatically records information
about loading activities, which is transferred to the Gateway station and the LSE central server.
