| EFB Software Applications
An integral part of our complete EFB packages, Teledyne's EFB software applications provide a powerful and user-friendly information environment that replaces time-consuming paper-based methods, therefore improving information accuracy and flight crew productivity.
Flight Manager
The foundation of Teledyne’s EFB software offering, Flight Manager is an open-systems design that provides an integrated operating environment for data sharing between the hosted EFB applicationsand between networked EFBs. It also includes a suite of administrative utilities pertaining to device configuration (e.g., screen orientation) and content management (e.g., software/data revisions).

Performance Tool
The EFB Performance Tool gives pilots on the flight deck a way to calculate aircraft performance, using real-time airport weather, and accounting for actual airplane system and MEL/CDL conditions. The Performance Tool calculates the maximum allowable takeoff and landing weights, even with last minute runway and environmental changes. This results in improved safety, maximum payloads and reduced maintenance costs.

Weight and Balance |
The Weight and Balance application gives pilots on the flight deck a way to calculate and generate an aircraft load sheet. This flexible application accounts for various operational items and dynamically determines passenger random seating protection based on actual passenger load. Its center-of-gravity optimization function can reduce fuel burn.

Document Viewer |
The Document Viewer adapts to the documentation technology used by the operator, providing an extension to the investment already made in digital documentation and allowing that documentation to be utilized effectively on the flight deck. A robust Search function is included.

Chart Viewer |
Teledyne's Chart Viewer uses an access methodology which supports the way a pilot works on the flight deck. Teledyne offers a pilot-friendly interface for organizing and viewing pdf-based charts provided by the National Aeronautical Charting Office (NACO). Charts in proprietary formats, such as Jeppesen or Lido charts, require the chart vendor's application for viewing. Teledyne's Flight Manager can integrate chart vendor applications into the EFB application suite.

Communications |
The Communications application provides pilots with the ability to receive, view, compose and send text messages. The application works with the Iridium-based communications products provided by AeroMechanical Systems (AMS) and Wingspeed. Communications functionality extends to the Weight & Balance and Forms Manager applications.

Forms Manager |
This application facilitates the completion of various forms on the EFB. Data are collected in an XML format for offload and input into ground-based systems. Teledyne can convert existing paper forms into EFB forms. Additionally, custom EFB forms can be designed to meet specific requirements.

Weather |
Designed to complement the on-board weather radar, this application provides pilots with the ability to view real-time graphical weather as generated by WSI Corporation. Numerous weather products can be displayed and deviations around severe weather can be planned.

LRU Configuration Manager |
LRU Configuration Manager (LCM) provides the operator’s EFB Administrator with a single, common user interface for properly configuring software and data packages for distribution to EFBs and other LRU types. It manages the configuration of software and data for each tail number, fleet type and/or LRU and provides configurable email notification of discrepancies. LCM distributes software and data across the operator’s network in real-time or through an integrated scheduler to minimize network traffic. It also manages personalized data collected from EFB users.
