Teledyne Controls offers Class I EFB solutions based on highly rugged Tablet PC computers running Windows XP. Designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, these pen tablets
offer fast speeds, low power requirements and longer battery life,
providing unmatched reliability and durability. Considered carry-on
equipment, they require limited testing and approval, allowing
operators to rapidly deploy a solution to the fleet. Teledyne can
also provide a certified docking station for computer storage, battery charging and networking connectivity to other systems. |

Teledyne Controls’ Class III EFB Installation is based on the solution that was selected by
Airbus to provide hardware for their Class III OIT. The OIT system
consists of two 12.1 inch XVGA color display terminals, that are mounted to the center
sliding rail assembly, therefore offering easy extension and retraction.
Each display unit is connected to a computer processing unit located in the avionics bay.
An optional keyboard is also available and can be connected to the system via the display
unit. The OIT is designed to be operated during all phases of flight and can be easily stowed
when not in use. The system also provides full cross-talk functions between the Captain’s
and the First Officer’s OITs.
