  • Teledyne Controls strengthens senior executive team with three new appointments

    ​El Segundo, CA – April 11, 2014 

    Teledyne Controls, the aircraft data and information management business, has significantly strengthened its senior executive team with the appointment of three new Vice Presidents to continue the company’s drive to become a global leader in avionics systems and solutions.

    Matt Wing has been appointed VP of Sales & Marketing. Previously the Director of Business Development–Programs at Boeing, Matt joined Teledyne Controls in 1991 as a Marketing Communication Analyst, rapidly rising through the Regional Sales and Product Marketing ranks. He was instrumental in capturing the landmark Seller Furnished Equipment (SFE) contract for the supply of the enhanced Digital Flight Data Acquisition Unit (eDFDAU) and the Network File Server 2 (NFS2) for installation across multiple Boeing platforms. Matt graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business in May 1990 with a B.S. in Finance and Business Economics.

    Marshall Dormire has been promoted VP of Business Development and Strategy. Marshall joined Teledyne Controls from Demo Systems in 2009, and has a proven background in engineering and business development within the avionics industry. For nearly five years he was the Business Development Director responsible for Teledyne’s Data Loading Solutions. He will now lead the senior team in defining and implementing the company’s vision. Marshall received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado. He received his MBA from Pepperdine University in 2013 and was recognized for academic excellence by Beta Gamma Sigma.

    Mehrdad Radmehr has been appointed VP of Operations.Mehrdad joined Teledyne Controls from an affiliated Teledyne company in 2010. Since then he has been key to the company’s success by improving manufacturing operations to deliver a competitive advantage. He has also been instrumental in implementing lean manufacturing and other initiatives to successfully manage Teledyne Controls’ growth and enhance productivity. He holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from California State University, Northridge and a MBA from the University of Southern California.

    Masood Hassan, President of Teledyne Controls, says that the well-deserved promotions recognize the exceptional talent within the business: “The depth and breadth of expertise within our senior executive team and throughout the business will be key to our company’s ongoing success and future growth,” he says.
